BenQ Introduces New FP93GW/FP93GWa LCD Monitors
02/04/2007

The ideal monitor for both professional and home-entertainment applications

EUROPE, April 2, 2007 – BenQ today introduces two additions to its LCD monitor lineup – the BenQ FP93GW/FP93GWa. Both monitors feature a 16:10 wide screen, a super slim bezel design, an ultra-fast 5ms response time, a high contrast ratio of 700:1 and BenQ’s exclusive Senseye+photo technology for consistent color reproduction.

Super slim bezel design
The new BenQ 19-inch FP93GW and FP93GWa LCD monitor offer users an optimum viewing space with its ultra-narrow 12mm side bezel design, giving both monitors a crisp and clean form factor. The ultra-narrow bezel allows the distance between images to shrink to a mere 24mm when multiple displays are placed side-by-side, yielding greater productivity and convenient viewing of large amounts of data. The monitors are ideal for professional applications such as finance, research, and communications centers as well as home entertainment applications.

Ultra-fast response time
The BenQ FP93GW and FP93GWa offer an ultra-fast 5ms response time which ensures better performance of video playback and produce flawless fast-moving action scenes with no ghosting or quirks. The Senseye+photo technology transmits colors through the sRGB color gamut, providing consistent and accurate color reproduction whether on camera, monitor, printer or other devices. The two monitors also feature a high contrast ratio of 700:1 and a brightness of 300 cd/m2, offering the most finely detailed images on your screen even in brightly lit environments.

D-Sub/ DVI dual input for maximum compatibility
The BenQ FP93GW LCD monitor is equipped with both traditional D-Sub and next-generation DVI input support, providing the best possible picture quality and video performance regardless of whether you are working with analog or digital input while the FP93GWa comes equipped with analog input only.

The BenQ FP93GW and the FP93GWa LCD monitor will be available in Europe in May.
