BenQ’s new data office projectors SP830, SP831 and MP730
The latest in 1080p projection arrives with the W5000 and W20000 Home Cinema Projectors

Essen, Germany (November 7, 2007) — BenQ, a leading digital lifestyle brand, today launches new lines of innovative home and office projectors at an event in Zeche Zollverein, Essen, Germany, a historical coal-mining and a Unesco World Heritage site. This visual brand-experience event provides an opportunity for media and partners to share ideas and trends and get a close-up look at BenQ's latest technology innovations and products.

BenQ presented three series of native widescreen projectors. Office Projector models SP830 and SP831 feature 3500 and 4000 ANSI lumens and 1280 x 768 WXGA split-screens which make them perfect for high-performance business applications. The mid-market MP730 data office projector features Brilliant Color II technology, WXGA 1280 x 800 and up to 4000 lamp hours – delivering extraordinary color saturation for true-to-life image quality.

Acclaimed for its business as well as entertainment projector products, BenQ also launched its full 1080p widescreen W5000 and W20000 Home Cinema Projectors. These feature new and exclusive video technologies designed to deliver a superior home cinema experience. Visual depth and sharper image details come into focus through the projectors’ true 1080p resolution (1920 x 1080/16:9), wider range of black tones and up to 10000:1 and 20000:1 contrast ratio.
