The BenQ DC P500 Delivers Sharp, Crisp Images with smc PENTAX LENS and Powerful 5X Optical Zoom
EUROPE, 22 march, 2006 - BenQ today announced a new addition to its digital camera lineup – the new BenQ DC P500, featuring 5 megapixels, smc PENTAX LENS (Super-Multi Coating), powerful 5X optical zoom, movie recording with stabilizer, long-lived battery and 3cm macro shoot mode.
Equipped with smc PENTAX LENS (Super-Multi Coating) with powerful 5X optical zoom, the P500 is able to deliver exceptional crisp, sharp photos with pristine clarity and superb contrast which makes it the perfect unit for those who demands high image performance from their camera. The camera also features a 3cm macro shot mode as well as an interval shooting mode that provides users with more diverse shooting options.
The BenQ DC P500 also features VGA movie recording with stabilizer at 30fps with AVI (MPEG4) format and a large 2.5” LPTS display which offers smooth, high quality movie clip and a comfortable viewing space. In addition, the P500 is equipped with long-lived rechargeable lithium-ion battery endurable for CIPA 250 pictures.
Furthermore, the P500 also supports PictBridge function which allows photos to be printed directly from any PictBridge-enabled printer without using a computer. The camera is bundled with 20MB built-in memory and a dual recharge mode which allows the camera to be recharged via both USB and DC -in port.
