BenQ projector market share reaches #1 in Europe, #2 in Asia Pacific and
#2 in the World
EUROPE, 18 September, 2006 – BenQ projectors have reached the #1 market share position in Europe, #2 in Asia Pacific* and #2 globally in Q2/2006 according to DTC Worldwide, a leading market research company. BenQ ranked #1 in 8 markets and #3 in 25 markets worldwide.

BenQ outpaced rivals to secure the #1 position in Europe at 12.00% market share in Q2. In Asia Pacific*, BenQ aggressively moved up two slots and more than two percentage points to become the #2 projector brand in Asia at 9.95%. BenQ projector’s global market share came in at a record high 8.10% giving BenQ the #2 position worldwide.
While BenQ ranks #1 in 8 markets
While taking top honors in Austria (21.42%) and Australia (14.74%), BenQ projectors also ranked #1 in the emerging markets of Czech Republic (33.87%), Romania (33.32%), Poland (29.58%), Israel (26.7%), Saudi Arabia (25.34%), and Russia (18.3%).
Increasing sales in the data projector segment have significantly attributed to BenQ’s consistent growth in the projector market worldwide.
